A little bit about Durrell, Lawrence

Lawrence George Durrell (February 27, 1912 November 7, 1990) was a British novelist, poet, dramatist, and travel writer, though he resisted affiliation with Britain and preferred to be considered cosmopolitan. He was born in India and, at the age of eleven, was sent to attend school in England a country in which he was never happy and which he left as soon as possible. · Can we improve this biography?
